From the beginning, our new facility has been designed to meet the requirements of LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification as awarded by the Canadian Green Building Council. The Canadian LEED program recognizes design excellence through the improved energy and environmental design of buildings in Canada. We are currently applying for a LEED Silver Designation.

Certification is organized according to the main LEED categories: Sustainable Sites, Water Efficiency, Energy Atmosphere, Materials & Resources, Indoor Environmental Quality, and Innovation & Design Process.
