Welcome to NHCHC!

North Hamilton Community Health Centre first opened its doors to serve the diverse population of North Hamilton in March 1987. Today, the not-for-profit organization funded by the Hamilton Niagara Haldimand Brant Local Health Integration Network provides primary care, health wellness and community outreach programs to nearly 7,000 North End residents.

Our Health Centre is open from 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday, 8:00am - 8:00pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and 8:00am - 4:00pm on Friday, by appointment only. Please note we are not a walk-in clinic.

There is a 24-hour on-call service available for urgent medical care. This service is for clients of the Health Centre and can be reached by calling 905-523-6611.

We are located at 554 John Street North, just north of Burlington Street. There is parking available at the Catherine Street entrance. Our building is wheelchair accessible.

The Bayfront bus (#4) stops closest at John and Burlington Streets. This bus can be picked up downtown at James Street South and King William Street.
